Caress Lamp is an original design by Jordi Rizo, self-manufac-tured in small series. The Caress Lamp is the only lamp in the world that uses it’s entire body as a sensor. This it how it works: For the fact of having mass, all bodies absorb and accumulate electromagnetic radiation from the environment. This includes as much objects as living beings. When you caress the lamp, the electrical charge in your body is added to the charge of the lamp. An electronic circuit hidden inside the lamp detects the increase in charge and activates the slowed turn on system, that looks like to be waking up.
